We hope that you can find all of the useful information about our group.
We try and keep the information as up-to-date and relevant as possible but it's not always possible to keep up with the speed at which things change so please bare with us.

After a couple of months waiting for the right weather with the container tantalisingly close to it's final resting place our BIG green box was picked up and moved into it's final resting place.
Now we are able to start work on securing the area down the side of our HQ and getting the equipment into the container.
After a working party on the 21st March the plot has now been planted up with vegetables, including:
This will be followed shortly by pumpkins, runner and french beans.
We need a little bit of assistance with watering the plants up at the allotment. If you think you would be able to adjust your walk of the dog to take in the allotment and spent 5-10 minutes watering the vegetables it would be much appreciated.
The allotment is coming along nicely but we still have a wish list of things that would be really useful:

The Scout Association are delighted to announce the new “Persevering Parent” Staged Award Badge in order to recognise in a tangible fashion the contribution that dedicated Parents make to the Scout Movement.
In a departure from the usual practice, and once more demonstrating Scouting innovation, the Persevering Parent badge will be provided as a tattoo. A Scout Association spokesperson explained, “We feel that Scout parents have enough sewing to do without the additional burden of having to sew their own badges. This approach will off-load the needlework to professionals who will welcome the additional business”
Local Godalming tattooist, Spike “the Needle” Stabber was delighted, “This is great news. I’m planning to offer discounts to customers who opt for one of my popular ‘I luv Bear Grylls’ range of tattoos at the same time. I expect huge demand and will be offering to make home visits to Scout Parents”
Although announced nationally, Persevering Parent Staged Award Badges will initially only be available in a few limited locations – the left ankle, the right forearm or the forehead.
Following the cancellation of our Family Camp we are planning a Family Day at Hollycombe on Sunday 16th May 2010.
Full details are being distributed trough the sections in the next week, both via email and letter.
For further details please speak to your section leader.
